TBall FAQ

Here are some commonly asked questions we receive from teeball parents.

How old does my son/daughter need to be in order to play teeball?
We generally like to encourage players to wait until they are 5 years old.  However, there are some circumstances we will allow it on a case by case basis.  The most common reason is having previously played in our fall tball program.

When are teams formed?
Tball teams are usually the last to be formed and may fluctuate up until Opening Day.  We will normally start forming teams in the beginning of March.  At that time you will receive an email or phone call from your coach.

When do practices start?  What days and times are practices?
Practices will start on or after March 16th.  You will normally practice at least 1 time during the week at 5:45/6pm.  You will also have a Saturday practice that can be anytime between 8am and 6pm.

When do games start and when are they?
Games begin on Opening Day (2019: April 13).  You will normally play a game 1 time during the week at 5:45/6pm.  You will also have a Saturday game that can be anytime between 8am and 6pm.

What does my son/daughter need?

You will receive a shirt and hat from the league.  We encourage you to buy a pair of baseball pants of the color designated by your coach.  Cleats are also recommended.  A glove is a must.  The league provides bats and helmets to all teams.
