OVERVIEW
Single A is Red Land Youth Baseball’s entry-level division for young players. This level is a noncompetitive instructional league that begins to introduce the game of baseball to novice players. Games and practices are held on smaller fields with shorter distances between bases. The main objective of Single A isto have fun and instill a love for the game of baseball. Players will begin learning basic skills of hitting, fielding, and throwing. BOTH tees and coach-pitching will be utilized for hitting. This level is also a first step for familiesto get involved in Red Land Youth Baseball by learning more about how the league functions and what volunteer opportunities exist.
